Just found this information. Hopefully you will get this message. Rebecca Isabel Odlum Hipwell was the daughter of Humphrey John Hipwell born 1846 married to Anna Madeleine Odlum in 1872. Rebecca was born 10/6/1887. i have a notation that she married Capt. Edward Arthur Palmer R>F>A> in Kingston, Dublin at the Mariners Church. Her sister Henrietta Eugenie Hipwell married to Geoffrey Kenyon of Yorkshire, died in 1920 naming Rebecca and Charles Darley as Beneficiaries/Executors. At the time, Rebecca was widowed and living in Maryboro (Portarlinton) Ireland. Charles Darley lived in Yorkshire so no doubt he handled the estate for relatives there. Rebecca's grandfather was also Humphrey Hipwell who married Anne odlum and Anne's parents were A. William Odlum and Elizabeth Drought....Rebecca's parents were 1st cousins. 3 of Rebecca's siblings were mentally disabled. Hope this clears up any mysteries for you. I have more on the Odlums and Hipwells of Offaly and Laois if you want. They were big in Milling and you can still buy odlum's Flour and McCanns Oatmeal today.
