Oglesby line

I have recently started a family tree on my ancestors, and could use some help locating any information that would help. My great-grandfather's name is Willam Edgar Oglesby, and unfortunately I don't have my work available to go any further with my research. Can anyone help me? He was born in Texas, if I remember right, but not sure on dates. His son(my grandfather, Edgar Armstrong Oglesby) was born August 17,1902. I think this may place my great-grandfather being born approximately 1880. I would appreciate any input on this line, where available. Thank you to whomever can help.
