I found marriage for Asa Oglesby and Allice Bell 1795 in Careteret, NC.parents Alexander Oglesby and Hannah Haines. There is a mistake or this is his 2nd marriage. We still don't have a mother for Archibald. Here are the children of Alexander, 1Asa,2Aaron,3Isaiah,4Rachel,5Elizabeth,6Bathsheba,7Daphne,
8Mary,and Sarah. All of Alexander and Hannah's children went from Va. to Ohio axcept Asa who went to NC and was in the 1830 Bedford Co. census. Nobody knows if he came to Il. Archibald was in the War of 1812 and we have a marker ordered for his grave. Send me your history down from Archibald. My e-mail is [email protected].
