My husband is a descendant of Malissa Ogletree and William Gunnels thru their son J. Milton who married Isabelle Flanigan.Their son George William married Martha Ellen Ruble and their daughter Ova Ethel Gunnels married James Peterman Hunter.Ova and J.P. had a daughter, Elsie Zelma Hunter, who married Clautice Orvid Hall and they are the parents of my husband Larry Edward Hall.My husband grew up in Overton county and was familiar with the name Ogletree but did not know he had Ogletree ancestors until we started research about a year ago.
