There is a George O'Hair who fought with the 9th Tennessee during the Civil War and was captured on one of General Morgan's raids at the Battle of Buffington Island.Saw this in a book by Lester V. Horwitz:The Longest Raid Of The Civil War.I am researching the O'Hair's of Kentucky.
