Miss H. S. Oliphant started two schools in India way back in 1937. The schools were named Welham Boys School and Welham Girls School.
I am an alumni of Welham Boys School, this year the school will be celebrating its 75th year of existence. Just wanted to let the Oliphant family know that she made a really great contribution to the society and the two schools she found are amongst the top residential schools in India whose alumni are in respectable positions across the world.
Would be very grateful if someone could give us some information about her (pictures or documents) as it is believed she came back to her native place to spend the last years of her life.
The following are the links to the schools she found -
Looking forward to hearing back from anyone who would know anything.
