Archibald married a woman named "Lenny" I have no information about her other then that. She may have died early in life or there was a divorce. They had a daughter named Mabel Elizabeth Olive born Oct. 3 1902 - Died July 2 1950. She married my G Grandfather Garland Bradshaw.
Archibald's Mother - Biddy C/Katherine Vaughn born Oct. 30, 1848 in McNairy Co. Tenn. Died January 16, 1916 she's burried in Red Bluff Cemetery at Jefferson County AR. Her Parents are John and Nancy (Fannie) Vaughn the records vary on their birthdays its between 1817 - 1821 and they were born somewhere in North Carolina. Biddy has a bother James Vaughn that was born in 1848 (possible twin or I'm off a year on the birth date) and an older sister named Harriet E. Vaughn born in 1846.
Archibald's Father - John A. Olive born Nov. 15, 1843 TN. Died Dec. 10, 1916. Burried at Red Bluff Cemetery in Jefferson County. He worked in Redfield, Jefferson County as a blacksmith. I do not have names for his parents but I do know where they were from, his mother was from S. Carolina and his father was from N. Carolina.
THE CONFUSING PART
In the early census records it has Archibald and his bothers listed with the surname Harrison in the 1880 census. This record shows his borthers are Henry Harrison born Sept. 2, 1887 and he died Aug. 19, 1900 burried in Red Bluff cemetery as an Olive. It shows John Marshall Harrison on the 1880 census records, but he's also burried as an Olive in Red Bluff Cemetery. Also in that same census record there is another brother named James M. Harrison born June 1, 1866. He died may 4, 1909. James M. Never changed his last name to Olive. He is Also Burried in Red Bluff cemetery. Archibald and his borthers were all born in arkansas (to my knowledge). Confusing more so is the sister Ida Catherine Olive records show her as being born in TN. Oct. 10, 1881. I have not found a record as her ever having the last name of Harrison.
Ida Olive was married 2 times. First marrage was to a man named William Walters, they had 2 kids before she was widowed (to my knowledge). Her kids are:
Johnny Walters born 1904, and Bessie Walters born 1906.
Second marrage to a Dudley Harrison Berry, they had one daughter a Leslie O. Berry born Oct. 12, 1918.
Ida Catherine (Olive) Berry died Oct. 2 1962 and and is burried with her family at the Redfield Cemetery Jefferson County Arkansas.
If you have any information on Archibald's wife, or the Harision/Olive changeover please let me know because right now I am thinking that he and his brothers were adopted or they were by a former marrage from Biddy C. Vaughn.
