I have a relative Elizabeth Pearson born around 1780 in Brierley Hill (about 2 miles from Dudley) who was married to a John Onions - I don't have much more information other than that they were both mentioned in her fathers will (he died in 1807). There might be a connection as the surname is uncommon in this area.
