Re: Opdenweyers of Louisiana

Here's more information about the "Opdenweyers of Louisiana." William Charles Opdenweyer married Mary Catherine Wugely in New Orleans in 1864. Their first child, John William, was born Dec. 9, 1863, in New Orleans. Other children were: Mary Louisa, b. 1867; Frank Michael, b. 1868; William H., b. in 1871; Alzada J. and Otto M., twins b. in 1876; Charles E., b. in 1878, and Sophie Elizabeth, b. in 1882. William Charles died in 1883 and his wife died in 1924. I am still looking for death dates for Mary Louisa, Alzada and Otto, whom I believe died young.
