Orchard DNA Project

By William Archerd November 21, 2011 at 04:22:08

An Orchard surname DNA project has quite recently been created at Family Tree DNA. The public website for this project is located at worldfamilies.net. The site is easy to navigate and you should have no problem finding it. There are currently three very detailed pedigrees appearing on that website.

The Orchard project is designed to assist participants who hope to confirm relationships of individuals or family lines, establish a country or area of origin and strengthen paper trail evidence. The Orchard surname is frequently seen in southwestern England. At times the spelling is Archard, and there are other variations. Researchers of Orchard and all spelling variations are invited to join the project.
