Re: John Orme of Guernsey County OH

I have been researching a connection between the Ormes of Guernsey, OH, and my husband's Clarke ancestors. I have Jane Clarke, b. 1831, Ireland, m. Leonard Orme, b. 1815 MD in Fairview, Guernsey Co.I think Leonard is brother to John Orme.He is certainly related, as I have been reading old newspaper articles about Rollin V. Orme (son of John).There was a big bank embezzlement scandal in about 1905/05, and a string of articles in the Cambridge Jeffersonian of that era.Leonard, Rollin, are central characters, and John Orme is also mentioned, along with Nathan H.
