Any info on Henry J Rourk 1885 SC

Sorry ( I apologize in advance for any stupid uestions)I am new to genealogy. My grandfather (Clarence P Rourk) his dad is Henry J Rourk, born around 1885, that is where I am getting stuck. I have his wife Mary L Rourk no idea on maiden name.After I go back this far I am getting stuck...I know that Rourk has a ton of different spellings and I am not sure if the name changes and thats why I can't find anything?If anyone could point me in a good direction it would be much appreciated.Thanks!
