Thank you, but I have found that census record. What I am looking for is their marriage record & parents' names.
I have found a clue.Juan de Mata appears in as a padrino in a baptismal record.I have found several census records that shows the father of the baby & the padrina are brother & sister. In the first census record, they also have a brother named Juan.I want to know if it is MY Juan de Mata.
Another clue . . . the father of the brother & sister is named Marcelino.Juan de Mata gave the middle name of Marcelino to his youngest son.
Does anyone know where I might find Catholic Church records for Pecos, NM around 1850?The earliest I can find is 1862.
