George Washington Osborn, 1846-1900

I'm looking for information concerning birthplace, parents, and
siblings of my great grandfather George Washington Osborn (b.
Oct 6, 1846, d. Nov. 11, 1900, in Wise Co, TX).GW is known to
have had at least two brothers (names unknown), whom the family
lost track of during the Civil War.The family may have
originated in MO; in any case, the first mention of GW is in
the Joplin, MO area c. 1870, where he supposedly ran the first
saddle shop in town. About the same time he married Siby Jane
Wharton (1848-1926) of Madison Co, AR; they were the parents of
Mary Alice (1870-1936?), Sarih Elizabeth (1871-), Georgean
(1873-1944), Lou Myra (1875-), Katy June (1877-), Viola (1876-1960s), William
Thompson (1881-), John E. (1883-), Henry Clay (1885-1965),
Laura Bell (1888-1911), and Cal Franklin (b/d 1891).The family
was in AR by 1881, and eventually settled in Wise Co Tx by 1886.
If anyone has any info that might help me narrow down my search
for GW's origins I'd truly appreciate hearing from them!
