Thank you for your reply! I feel like we have a connection.We have always felt like the George Overdorf married to Catherina Osias was our line - although until we prove our missing generation - we can't be sure. We think that Johannes's father was a son on George and Catherina. My line is:
Johannes Oberdorf(born? - died? - we think in PA) married Catherine Lutz 9/20/1812 Catherine came to Indiana and died here 6/15/1878
George Overdorf Sr. (son on Johannes and Catherine) (1/21/1813 - 6/5/1902) born in Lancaster, Pa and died in Hamilton County, In. married Maria Steigelman(9/7/1816 - 10/27/1898) married on 11/3/1835 - they had 8 children
George (1838), John S. (1841), Mary (1843), Sarah (1846) Catherine (1849, Ann (1852) Magdelena and Elizabeth both died as infants.
George Overdorf Jr. (12/11/1838 - 10/29/1919) married on 2/27/1862 - Elizabeth Jane Barker (1843 - 1936) George and Elizabeth had 5 sons -Benjamin, Albert, Samuel Ezra, Edward and William Orley
Samuel Ezra (son of George Jr. and Elizabeth) (3/13/1868 - 8/26/1954) married on 3/4/1889 - Daisy Jackson (1/21/1869 - 10/3/1916) - they had 2 sons - Walter and Glen.
Walter Overdorf (4/7/1892 - 5/9/1965_son of Ezra and Daisy - married Emma Hunt (3/11/1893 - 12/8/1949) They married 3/12/1911 and had 5 children - Clyde, Fern George, Velma Jean and Richard
George Overdorf (11/19/1914 - 3/5/1988) married on12/24/1933 Berneice Miller (9/14/1916 - 10/13/1980) They had 5 children - Jean, Phillip, Kenneth, Connie and Thomas.
Connie Overdorf Paul - I married William S. Paul on July 2, 1960.We have 2 daughters and 6 granddaughters.
