Albert Overholt was a half-brother to my grandmother, Etta Esther Overholt Hartman.Albert was born December 28, 1863 in Ohio.He died June 4, 1929 in Payne Co., Oklahoma. He married Elmira Belle Chum. They had two children, Isaac Walter and John Baker.Albert later married Ida Mae ?.I have a couple of pictures of Albert and also a letter that he wrote to my grandmother.E-mail me at [email protected] have a lot of information on this family.Albert's mother was Susan Putt and his father was Isaac Overholt.Isaac bought up a lot of land in western Kansas in Logan Co., Kansas. After making this purchase, Isaac hung himself in a barn in Franklin Co., KansasAlbert lived out there for awhile according to the postcards I have, but sometime he went to Payne Co., Oklahoma where a couple of his brothers lived.Would love to exchange information. Since your name is Clum (are you a relative of Elmira's?) maybe I have been given the wrong information about Elmira's last name being Chum and is Clum instead.Isaac was a member of the Brethren Church and so was my grandmother.
