According to the History of the 16th IN Infantry, William Weeks of Washington Co. IN survived the Civil War and was mustered out June 30, 1865 at New Orleans, LA. According to Washington Co., IN Divorces 1814-1920, Margaret Weeks vs. William Weeks March 20, 1866.I do not find him on the Washington Co. IN 1870 census, so he may have left the area. The divorce index does not mention any minor children. Do you know who Robert Logan's parent were?I have not been able to connect him to the other Logan families of Washington Co. who seem to have been early settlers from KY. Based on my previous research, and the information you provide on Margaret, Margaret's sister, Barbara Overshiner Killion, wife of Silas D. Killion was also living in Jackson Co. IL at the same time. Silas Killion married a 2nd time in 1859, idicating Barbara died between the birth of a daughter about 1858 and this 2nd marriage to Rhoda Elizabeth Creath in Jackson Co., IL. Please e-mail me-I have more to share and a photo of who I believe to be one of Isaac's daughters taken in E. St. Louis IL.
