I am seeking researchers or information about the PAECH (PACH) family members who settled east of MelbourneVictoria in the 1850s and 1860s. I think these were the children of Gottfried Paech and Maria Rugen. Many changed their name to Pach, Pack, Pech, and eventually PECK which makes it hard. The family also pronounced the name PARK so there is a handfull of names to choose from.
I refer to August Paech(PACH)(his wife was Augusta Luise Jaeckel), orchardist, of Scoresby North (Bayswater); Wilhelm Paech(PACH) of Croydon; Anna Maria Paech(PACH) who married Karl Heinrich RICHTER of Boroondara; another daughter Paech (PACH) who married Martin KLEINERT of Scoresby North (Bayswater); and I believe there might be another sister. I believe these may have come from Liegnitz or elsewhere in Silesia, Prussia.I am seeking to confirm their origins and connections wit each other as well as with other Paechs. I wonder if there is some link with the SA or other Paech families.
I am also looking for the history or descendants of these children of August and Augusta PACH (nee Jackel): 1. Henry Paech(Pach)Peck, believed to have gone to Western Australia, 2. Arthur Paech (Pach) Peck believed to have gone to farm in the Mallee country, 3. Robert Paech,(Pach)Peck who had a pub in Launceston, Tasmania, and 4. and another brother, Otto Paech (Pach) Peck of unknown movements.
