These are a bit late for my databases, unfortunately. What did Richard do for a living, and roughly when was he born? Could he have been the Matthew of Great Aycliffe, age 15 and a greengrocer in 1881, son of Matthew a platelayer? Else he might have been the Richard of Long Newton a 15-year-old farmer's son in 1881. Any other clues?
