Carl Papke/Christian Papke
Carl Papke came to Lund, Sweden when Scania had been made part of Sweden. Carl was a professor at Lund University and was also appointed a Bishop in Lund.
His son, Christian Papke, was also a Bishop of Lund. This was during the time of King Charles XII who was then staying in Lund for many years (around 1716).
Any more information on these two persons and their descen-dants would be welcome.
It is stated in a book in Lund that one of their forefathers was in Greifswald, Germany, in the 1500´s.
