Peter Parkinson d.1792 Cause of death? Fire?
Does anybody know about the fire that burned down Peter Parkinson's house in E. TN? My 4GG William Brown b. 1756 mentions in his Rev. War pension application that his family Bible was in Peter Parkinson's house when it burned. I noticed Peter died in 1792 and wonder if this could have been the cause of death. I don't know why Wm Brown's family Bible would have been there. Wm Brown was supposedly married at the time and had a son, Wm Brown "Jr". Wm Brown's first wife died and then he married Katy Nave. I'm trying to find William Brown Sr's first wife.
