In Nov. 1799, Wm. Craig proved by oath of Charles Dunaho that he lost part of his ear by a bite from Robert Parton.
I believe this Robert Parton may have been part of the family of the Cynthia Parton who is apparently a widow in 1830 Monroe Co. TN.
In Blount Co. TN 1801 Capt. Colville's Co. there was a Samuel Partin. I also think this goes to the Partons (various spellings) who were later in Monroe Co. TN.
also on this list was Ahimas Regan John Regan Benj. Ragin
Much later info, may or may not be related to the Partons abaove.

I have no idea who this John Parton was. They later divorced in Blount Co. TN. I would love to have a copy of the divorce papers. Do any of you descend from these folks. I can'f find any of them after 1880.
