Hi, Okay sorry if I get any of this wrong but I'll try to tell you what the information I found was. Apparantly, according to what I found, Col. Thomas Pate had a sons John, Matthew, and William. It says I am descended from John, but could it be mistaken and be Matthew? I plan to look at your information after I am done typing this message and may even find things I am questioning now. I know some of the information I found sounds strange and even I had a hard time believing it, but the only thing I found I can really put faith in is the Pate plantation in Kentucky. My entire family was from Kentucky, my grandpa was the first to move here to Tennessee, and according to my inforamtion I am related to the Pate's that owned the Pate plantation. Apparantly the only reason that plantation is known today is because of it's little spot in history.
Anyway, I don't know alot and I am still trying to find any information that leads me in the right direction.
