Andrew PATERSON Inverness b. c.1821

Andrew PATERSON, b. c. 1821 married Helen GRANT on 22 Dec 1840 Merkinch Inverness. Had 9 children including Archibald McLennan PATERSON, emigrated to South Australia (my great-grandfather). One of brothers was Andrew PATERSON. 1881 census of Inverness lists Andrew PATERSON, 39yrs, a painter at 36 Madras St Inverness, with wife Mary A. REDMOND, 35yrs, and children Andrew (16), James R. (9), Helen G. (7), Jessie (6) and Maurice R. (1). Also mother-in-law Ann REDMOND, widow. 1891 census on 5th April, Andrew now with wife Alexandrina (36) and James (20), Jessie (16), Maurice R. (13), Isabella (9), Thomas (6), Kenneth J. (4), Hugh (2) and Margaret B. (14 days). Any information on Andrew PATERSON's family or his siblings Janet (Apr 1824), Thomas (May 1848), Helen (Jun 1850), Hugh (Jun 1852) or James (Jun 1854), all born Inverness, appreciated.
