Elizabeth Harriet _______, born 1826 TN, married ______ Patterson.

Looking for the maiden name of Elizabeth Harriet ________.
Born 1825 in TN.She married an unknown Patterson, I believe.On the 1850 census in Jefferson Co. ILL she was married to my ggg-grandfather Benjamin Hawkins.It list a child with them by the name of Joab Patterson. He is 8 years old, so born abt 1842.On the 1880 census where Elizabeth is living with her son William, in the marital status box is written a 2.I believe that means she was married twice.I have come by some small amount of information to lead me to believe that Patterson is not her first marriage.Would appreciate any help!!
