I am researching the Patton's of Sullivan Co, IN. The patton family came from the Scotton-English border.The names of the three patton brothers who came west were a Joshua Thomas Patton who settles near Carlisle, Sullivan Co, IN, he had three children, Joshua Thomas, William and Clarissa Ann( My 3rd great-Grandmother).
William patton settled in Kansas and died there, John Patton settled near Edwardsport in Davies Co, IN, on the White river, he had two sons.One died of Spinal Mengegitis, the other Davis Patton lived near Paupaw Bend.
