It was great hearing back from you.I'll have to pass on this information to my oldest brother.We're the two main people in our family that do research.

We spell the name in at least three ways that I know of, and a fourth by accident.The original spelling is Pave, but was changed to Pavy when Guilliam came to America.Most of the family members lived in Caroline County, VA, and they had the same names.It was confusing when it came to receiving mail, so they changed the spelling of their names.Some spelled it Pavey, some Pavy, and some Pavie.There was one son of Guilliame Pave that changed the spelling of his name to Pavao.I think you said you have that version, but I don't remember not looking at the page.
