Rev William Peacock of Hartford & Woolley, Huntingdonshire
I am looking for any living descendants of the Rev. William Peacock (1749-1817) and his wife Ann, nee Prime (1749-1835). William was heir to William Peacock Esq of Woolley Manor in Huntingdonshire, England. He inherted the estate laden with dept and sold it in 1801.
William and Ann had 14 children mostly born whilst he was the Vicar of South Thoresby in Lincolnshire. About 1800 he took the living at Hartford near Huntingtonwhere he eventually died.
The children born between 1770 and 1795 were; Susannah, Mary, Ann, John, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Sarah, Catherine, Frances, George, Maria, twins Charles & Septimus, and a second John Peacock.
When Ann, widow of the Rev. William died in 1835, according to her bible she had thirteen great grandchildren of which my family accounted for only three, all being descended from her daughter Mary.
