James Dallas Pearce after 1913

I am looking for information on my GGGrandfather James Dallas PEARCE.He was born in New York around 1847 to James W. and Catharine PEARCE.The family moved and settled in Columbia Twp., Fayette County, Indiana.I'd say somewhere between 1860 and 1880.We know he was alive in 1913 because he is listed as a survivor in his wife's (Virginia Bryan(t) PEARCE) obituary.After that, we can't find him.He is not buried next to her in the plot at Columbia Cemetery as the plot is empty.Thank you for any information you may have.Agnes
