Thank you for the information.I too left my job in June last year and operate my own business as a marriage celebrant www.lindafindlaycelebrant.com.au. and my business is doing really well, so hope you do well too.
I don't think that nanna was aware of the plot etc, and she didn't talk abuot it much.We found out a little bit after she died by going through Parkes newspaper archives from that time.
I have pages and pages of stuff I have put together, and am just waiting to catch up with Aunty Joan in November to get some photos of Nanna's brothers to include in my story.A lot of the stuff I have gained from two distant cousins that have put a lot more time and effort into it than I have, have really only been doing bits and pieces when I have the time.I even have information re the pews at a church in England dedicated to the Pearse family
Once I have the photos and have bound some books together I will get in touch with you if you like and send you a copy.It is basically only the Pearse family tree,Maybe next year will try and nvestigate the Gibbs side of things, but unfortunately don't have a lot to go on re Pop's parents and their siblings etc, but am determined that there must be information out there to be gained.
As a matter of interest your mother is eight weeks older than me, and you were born four days before I got married i.e., 10/5/75, and I remember it well. You were born at Crown STreet womens hospital, the same place as your mother and me (and many other gibbs babies).
Best wishes LINDA
PS - I think your brother and sister may have been born at Penrith or Kingswood hospital.
