My grandfather, Gustaf Emil Pearson was born July 18th near Stockholm, Sweden.He was born on his father's farm.He came to America as a young man to visit his brother August who was farming in Greenleaf township near Miller, South Dakota. There are three Pearsons still living.Doris Pearson Fulmer, Charleen Pearson Hargens, and Marion Pearson Hill.It is said that my grandfather's brother served in King George's court, in Sweden, butI do not know what his given name was. There has been no change in the family name for hundreds of years.
