PEARSON,Lawrence Co,Al/bef 1880

B.J. and Mary V. (irginia ?) WALLACE PEARSON mar. 5 April 1875 Law.Co.,Al. He was a minor,she was c. 6 yrs his senior(according to the 1880 census).Also,according to the same census,their oldest child,Perky Jane (sometimes called Perk), was 12 years old.As she married in 1885 w/o consent for a minor,I believe the census info to be correct.Should I look into court records for info re: out of wedlock birth? Accoding to family tradition,B.J.& Mary V. PEARSON left N.Al after 1885 ,in a covered wagon going to Ok but died in Arkanas in an epidemic.The younger children were taken by foster parents to Ok while Perk Jane PEARSON BLIZZARD and her family stayed in Law. & Morgan Cos.,Al.
