Looking for Harvey Pendleton from OK

My late grandfather is Niles Conrad Pendleton (born in the 1920s I think), son of Harvey Pendleton (born about 1897) and Laura Melton (of native American heritage). Harvey Pendleton had three sisters: Anna Lee, Frances, and Dolly. They were the children of James and Mary Lee. The whole family went West from Spotsylvania, VA, at some point according to stories passed down. Here is where the story goes blank on Harvey Pendleton.

His wife Laura died in labor having her second child, my grandfather, Niles Pendleton. Her first child was Mildred Pendleton born in 1917. Harvey left to work in the oil fields when Niles was a baby and never returned. His sister, Anna Lee, adopted Niles and Mildred and moved to Texas when she married William A. Holston, a Texas Ranger.

I think Harvey did return to Oklahoma a few years later, but the family was gone. I also think Harvey started a new family and had a son named Harvey Lee Pendleton. Harvey Lee Pendleton would be my father's uncle if he is still alive, and any children are my cousins of course. Please let me know if anyone knows anything what happened to Harvey Pendleton.

(Niles eventually married Bernice Marie Roszelle and moved to Virginia Beach, VA, in the 1960s until his death in 2000. He had a son, John Conrad Pendleton, in 1947 who lives in Pensacola, FL. John and his wife had me in 1973.)
