David....thanks for that information.I agree that the later Micajah Pendleton could certainly have been the son of any of those brothers.

The Giles Davidson (married "Mina" Pendleton) and Josiah Davidson (married Rebecca Giles) who I mentioned had a brother who was named Edward Davidson (fought at Valley Forge and died in Buckingham Co., VA around 1827).Those brothers were sons of David Davidson (born circa-1715, apparently in James City Co., VA; died about 1798 in Buckingham Co., VA), and David was married to a Mary Giles. That Edward Davidson was married to a Judith Pendleton.Do you know Judith's "Pendleton lineage?"Was she perhaps a sister of the "Mina" Pendleton who married Giles Davidson? Thanks!

By the way, I have researched....to some degree....the Gaines family that married into the Pendleton family. That is because I am a "Brown family researcher," and there were at least five Brown/Gaines marriages in the Culpeper Co., VA area....and at least some of those Gaines/Brown marriages included a "Gaines bride" who was out of the "Gaines/Pendleton branch" of the overall Gaines family.
