Sigh. Leave it to my line to have ducked the registration process. In your experience, what are the chances of the name of the father being wrong on a marriage record? It clearly says John and waiter. Or maybe Sarah Ellen was lying about her age, also a common trait of my lines. So you think this Ann E., b. 1878 to George of St. Helens and Elizabeth of Hull is the most likley candidate, father's name not withstanding?
And of course, thank you for all your interest and information. Jerry
