Great to hear from the southern branch of the Pennypacker family. It's my understanding that about 145 Pennypackers fought in the war with around 45 of them for the Confederacy. After the war, Galusha reverted to his regular army rank of colonel and for a period of time served as the commander of a military "reconstuction" district.
