Benjamin Perkins was in York County in 1766.Don't know exactly what kin he was to the Baker and Lewis lines...You might be interested in the War of 1812 records - by that time, there were 4 soldiers named Baker Perkins, all of the same family...Library of Va. also has wills and deeds for Dinwiddie...Interesting that they were connected to the Wynn family - the Perkinses in James City also were connected to the Wynnes - a different family.
