Parrett Family in NY tri-state area?

I'm looking for information on the Parrett Family lines in the tri-state areas of NY, NJ, & PA.My Great Grandmother was a Minnie Anna Parrett possibly born around 1851.She married a William Penn Van Gorden in Oct. 7, 1869 in Ridgebury M.E. Church in Ridgebury, NY.I have no information about her or who her family was.Looking for clues or suggestions on where to continue my search.
