Aaron Drucker, Son of Persky
Howdy -
I'm trying to find some information on the family of my great-grandfather Aaron Drucker. He was born c. 1873 in Vilnius (or Wilna) Lithuania/White Russia. His mother's maiden name was Persky. I heard that he successfully returned to Russia after the revolution to retrieve his family, but was supposedly disowned after marrying a gentile. I know he graduated from Columbia in 1901 and subsequently studied to be a rabbi. I am interested as to whether or not he is the same Aaron P. Drucker who is listed as a 1903 alumni of the Jewish Theological Seminary. He taught business at a college in Colorado Springs, lived in Israel (or Tel Aviv?) around the time of the founding of Israel, but died in San Francisco in 1958. He possibly had siblings who moved from NY to Canada. Any further information on his family would be most welcome.
