I have researched my family genealogy back to Samuel Lemuel Pettingill born 9/Aug/1833 in Onondaga New York. phil pattengale has already done some extensive research on the family and I would like to connect with him. Has anyone had any luck in contacting Phil? I have some family photos and other historic items I would be willing to add to the family tree. My connection is my father John Samuel Pettengill Jr.Lead S.D. 4/Feb/1925, my grandfather John Samuel Pettengill Sr. 18/June/1897 in Boone Iowa, my great grandfather William H. Pettingill 25/Oct/1871 in Iona Michigan, and then Samuel Lemuel Pettingill 9/Aug/1833 in Onondaga, New York. I am particularly interested in if any were active in the military?
