On page 255 of "A Pettingell Genealogy," page 255 is Amzi iii. b at Hancocock Jan 12 1830 d. at sea near Western Island, Sept 11. 1955; unm. he was 3rd c of vii to Eliphalet b July 17, 1791; died April 14. 1965. Married Aug 29. 1931.Eliza, daughter of James amd Elizabeth (Bragdon) Simpson, born Sept 18. 1807. Died Nov. 17, 1866.
He had 6 brothers and sisters. This data came from a reprinted copy by Pettingill the dentist, who died a few years ago and is available word for word on disk.
You have to be very careful citing data that is submitted by cd at the Library in Salt Lake City, A,zo doed at age 25 unmarried and no descendants/ His parents had 7 ch/ and are listed under Seventh Generation
