On Friday last week, I received the "proof" copy of volume II from my publisher. I have been spending all my available time since then reviewing it. When I have finished my review, I will make whatever text corrections are necessary and the publisher will make any necessary corrections to the graphics. I expect to finish my review by the end of this week or early next week and send the publisher my corrections.
At that time, I will be sending order forms requesting payment to all persons who asked me to reserve a copy or copies for them.
Once the printer receives the final PDF from the publisher, I will wait a few weeks more to get the second proof copy. Assuming that copy is OK, the publisher will then place an order with the publisher to print 250 copies. That should cover the number of copies that have been reserved by prospective customers while allowing for a possible 10 percent shortfall.
