James Peyton b. 1825 in Virginia

Hi,
Trying to find the parents and children of James Peyton who was b. 1825 in Virginia to estabish If he is the right person in which case he would be my ggg grandfather. This James married Mahala "Haley" Gear and one of their children was Ephraim Peyton b. 1860 in Virginia and he would be my gg grandfather who married Mary S. Breeden and they are the parents of my grandfather Ephraim Peyton b. 1899 in Virginia, who married Margaret Stevens..and they are the parents of my father. Any info/help would be greatly appreciated.
