I do believe we are talking about the same family!My grandfather’s brother was Andrew Saemann PFEIFFER and he had a son, Charles with Anna Katherine O’CONNER (this information is from a book that was written in 1932.)Anna O’Conner must be your grandmother’s sister-right?
