Nancy, the daughter of Levi Phillips and Barbara Hough, whom were married in Popes Mill GA, was born in GA in 1789.She married Charles Arrington.This Levi Phillips is my gg-grandfather.I have no idea where the origin of the information that this Levi was born in Germany came from.In his Rev. War pension application in Pendleton SC, dated Oct. 27, 1820, "he states that he has always been a citizen of the United States since birth".Many of his children's given names were the same as those used in the line of descent of Rueben Phillips, born about 1715 in MD.I would appreciate hearing from otherswho have information on Levi Phillips, and wife, Barbara Hough.
