Dabney, Jacob, George, John, Aaron, Nicholas, Philip of Mercer Co.,KY
Saw all the posts about Dabney Philips of VA.So does anyone know about "Dabner" Philips of Mercer County, KY? I think that should be Dabney. He is there in the 1810 census, on same page (328) with Nicholas (who I am researching) and John. I think Dabney, John, Nicholas, George, Aaron, Philip and Jacob, all of Mercer, KY, were related in some way. See also 1820 and 1830 censuses of Mercer Co., KY.
Nicholas, born abt 1785, went to McNairy Co., TN, where he is listed in 1830 census. His sons were John Andrew, George N. and possibly Joseph.
Jacob may have been the oldest (45+ in 1810).Jacob Phillips of Mercer Co., KY is listed in Wm. R. Navey's KY Pension Roll of 1835. Jacob died September of 1830, but his age is not given. George Phillips, also of Mercer County, KY, is also listed as a pensioner.George's age in 1832 was reported to be 77, but the census does not confirm this. In 1830 census, he was 50-60 years old.
Can anyone help?
