According to Jim Pickard, a fellow cousin and researcher, John came to America with Ezekiel Rogers, a Puritan minister from Rowley in Yorkshire, England.Evidently Rogers brought several members of his congretation with him.The Pickards stayed in Rowley for several generations. It is pesumed by some that John was also aminister, but that has not been proven. His mother was probably Anne Lume Pickard who also came to Rowley.John married Jane Crosby who came with her parents from Holme on Spaulding Moor.If you have further information on these folks, please feel free to share.I am related to a Henry Pickard, born 1805, married to Levina. It seems Henry came to America and lived with relatives other than his parents prior to marrying Levina Minnis.I am looking for his arrival date and the ship on which he sailed.Anything?????Thanx, Penny
