I am descended from Mary PIDCOCK born at Longstone in 1843.Her father was William and his father was Wm PIDCOCK marr in 1808 at Bakewell to Sally GARRETT. I think this Wm was born in 1788 and his fa was also William, possibly son of Anthony PIDCOCK who married Mary HEYWARD in 1734 also in Bakewell.It's very confusing as there are so many Williams!!I wondered if you could shed any light on this line
