I had the Jarrow part of the story. My Great Great Grandfather married Robert and Carolina's daughter Minnie in 1900. I've got their history (to a degree) with their 8 kids - the eldest born in Southwick and the 2nd youngest born back in Norfolk (obviously a long trip home!).

Robert didn't have a son William but Henry and Charlotte did and he was born in 1970. I think it's likely that Henry and Robert were related and travelled North together looking for work. Guess this makes us cousins several hundred times removed :).
