Re: Ida Eliza Pisor
I see - you were hoping to make a Pisor connection for someone else.Well it's nice to meet another distant relative from the Campbell/Christy line, though.
Sounds like you were able to figure out that I was from Samuel's line. That's right. My line goes like this: Samuel James Campbell + Sidney Gibson > Lavina Campbell + Robert Hall Campbell > Olive Ann Campbell + George W. Campbell > Clyde Vincent Campbell + Carrie Agnes Granger > Donald Raymond Campbell + Dorothy Margurite Lippert > Dennis Raymond Campbell + Karen Marie Aiken > Me.
The Pisor in my line isn't in my direct line, but since you were looking for a link, I thought I'd show you.Margaret Jane Pisor, daughter of Daniel O. Pisor and Ada Campbell was married to my G Grandfather Clyde's oldest brother Herbert Clayton Campbell, and they lived in Butler City, Butler, PA for most of their lives.Since it wasn't in my direct line, I din't research the Pisor line, but maybe they are linked to the Ida Eliza Pisor you're researching in some way. It's a pretty rare name from what I've seen, and since they're in the same area, they're probably related somehow.
I do have one photo of the Concord Cemetary - actually, not of the cemetary itself, but of John Campbell's grave.Other than him, though, I don't think I have any other ancestors buried there. Most of mine appear to be in the Rose Hill Cemetary in Butler, Butler, PA, the Bear Creek Cemetary in Fairview, or the North Cemetary in Butler, Butler, PA.I've never actually been to the area, since I'm over in California.I'd hope to stop by someday and check out the area where so many of my ancestors lived for so long.
Anyway, nice to meet you, and if there's any more information you'd like to know about my line, or if you'd like me to try to link up the Pisors in my line to the ones you're researching, let me know.
